Project: Gas Mixing Station

Department: Geology

Primary Investigator: Dr. Hailiang Dong

Purpose of Project: The gas station will be used for the project entitled "Microbial reduction of Fe in sedimentary clays: implication for subsurface microbial ecology and bioremediation". This project is funded by American Chemical Society. The station will be used to establish anaerobic conditions for the microbial-clay interaction experiments by replacing air with N2 + CO2.
